Randal, at the young age of 14, has been selected for KZN Coastals U16A team as well as having represented the Westville U16A team throughout the season. Furthermore, he has also picked up some caps for the Westville Boys High 1st XI side, an amazing achievement for such a talented young player.

Partnering up with Clifton Hockey

Corogains Sports is delighted to announce their sponsorship of Clifton Hockey for 2018. IMG_2635There can be no argument behind the fact that Clifton hockey is rising from strength to strength as the years progress. They have consistently performed well above their expectations and continue to grow as the years pass. Currently ranked 3rd in the country, having displayed some breath taking hockey and producing fantastic results, they are certainly a force to be reckoned with. Leading by example is their Director of Hockey as well as the 1st XI Head Coach, Keegan Pearce. Under his guidance, these young men are in superb hands. Keegan has continuously produced results with these talented athletes and has the correct measures in place to ensure sustainability throughout the schools hockey program. It was a clear and obvious choice to get involved with Clifton for 2018 and it certainly is an opportunity to grow the relationship in the years to follow. Rovers & Sharks Reps

The latest action.. Our Corogains sponsored athletes, Grant Williams and Xavier Swartbooi, represented the Sharks u21 and u19 teams respectively this past weekend against Eastern Province.. They both had a great day out at the office, with the Sharks u19 recording a 24-14 victory and the Sharks u21 ran away with the game, outscoring their hosts 54-7. What a year it has been for these players so far. Having joined the Sharks at the beginning of 2017, they have excelled on the field, for both club and Union. Xavier was an integral part of the College Rovers u20A side that won the league this year and has stepped up to a pivotal role with the Sharks u19 side. Grant Williams has been a stand out player in a College Rovers 1st XV that won the “double” this season, claiming both the domestic league trophy and the much coveted Murray Cup Knockout Competition. This, rightfully so, has earned him a call up to the Sharks u21 side. His transition since joining from WP has been nothing short of brilliant and there’s no doubt that we can expect a whole lot of magic from these two gentleman as the years continue. We are delighted to have these athletes on board with Corogains Sports. Kitted out with their new Puma evoPower Vigor boots, they won’t be missed on the field. Make sure to keep an eye out for them and most importantly, remember these names!!
